Autumn and Halloween Decor at The Dollar Tree

Hi!

I seriously wish that I were making this up...but I saw Fall and Halloween decor at The Dollar Tree today! Yikes! Too soon! But if they are smart, they will sell those cute little pumpkins again (white, brown and orange)...and if so, you know you'll be wanting one, so keep a look out for them!

I remember last year, I could not find one and I looked high and low...and sweet Ramona from A Day in the Life of Ramona sent me some....so sweet!!!

So, keep your eyes open....but enjoy summer, too, before it slips away!

Need To Decorate A Dorm Room On A Budget?

I was out and about at Aldi's today and saw Extra Long Twin Size Sheets at Aldi's for $8.99 and Comforter with Sham for $16.99! I am going by memory, so I may be off by a dollar or two, but very, very affordable and nice bright colors, too. These are a "Special Purchase" so you have to get them while they are still in stock.



I also saw mini refrigerators at Costco yesterday for about $89, if your student needs one of those.

Smith & Hawken Are Closing Their Stores - Look For Liquidation Prices

Well, this is very sad news, I love Smith & Hawken! I have bought several nice things from them from my Target store in the past couple of years. I will miss them!!!

Start looking for clearance items at their stores and at Target. Let me know what you find! Good Luck!

Smith & Hawken is Liquidating

Dear Customer,

Smith & Hawken today announced it is closing its stores and liquidating the company. This liquidation process will occur over the next five to six months, which means we expect to phase out the business by the end of the year. The closure process, which is being managed by third-party consultants, begins with storewide sales on July 9. Store closures are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Orders via Smith & Hawken's Web site, catalog and call center will be discontinued effective July 9, and customers will be directed to purchase products at the stores. Smith & Hawken gift cards will be honored at the stores during the closure process. Smith & Hawken has 56 stores in 22 states and Washington, D.C.
