They had a whole scene on how wonderful their new home looked and how Andrew loves to decorate -- all the while with the brown, green & white striped wallpaper in the background!
I was so excited...and even my husband was a little geeked about it...but we called my son in the room and he was like, "So what, my wallpaper's on TV." Typical 14 year old!
So, anyhow, I thought I would repost some pics of my son's room. We redid his room last May, but it really is still my favorite room in the house (lucky kid!). I hope you will enjoy seeing it again, too.

The stripes here are actually wallpaper and not paint. It is called Figaro Green from Drama I bought it from American Blinds & More.com. The bedding can be purchased at Target, Target.com & Amazon.com and is called: Contemporary Home Ogee Bed in a Bag - Neutral Citron.
Hanging Lantern light is from IKEA. My son chose a green cord to go with it. It blends in pretty well. The body pillow is from Costco and the decorative pillow is from Target.

I couldn't find the 'perfect' rug so I went with 2 circle rugs from IKEA. One is green and the other is chocolate brown. It works and they are very soft, too.

A cool new clock and a Football Memory Board both from Kohls.com.

Nice Dream picture from Target. I like how the greenery in the picture goes with the greenery on his side table too. (Also from Target).
I just have to say...my dh hung this picture up when I was not in the room...and he Gorilla Glued it on because he didn't want to deal with weird 2 nail thingee on the back of this picture...at first I was kind of mad...lol..I mean he put it ON the molding and it is sort of on an angle too how he managed that I don't know...and since it was glued on well that was that...but now every time I see it it makes me laugh...so at least he tried lol ;)

Greenery and revolving photo frame from Target. Green desk lamp from IKEA. Curtains from Lowe's.

This is the wall that opposes the striped wall. It is a chocolate brown (Sweet Georgia Brown by Behr). Then the other 2 walls are a Taupe color. Nice warm colors perfect for relaxing.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my son's room again. Now, if I could only get him to keep it clean!!!

I love that show too..., I didn't really notice the wall paper, but it looks awesome. Hopefully you'll find some pics from the set!
I once saw my bedding set on Apartment Therapy and I was really excited about that, but I've never seen anything in my home on TV! I happen to think that is pretty cool, even if your son does not agree. His room looks great!
Oooh, very mod! When you find out how to get him to keep it clean, will you please let us know? I would love to learn how to keep my 9 year old on top of his! Right now he's on top of it, only because it's all on the floor beneath him!
The wallpaper looks awesome - a great room for your son. Thanks for sharing
This truly is a terrific room for a teenage boy!
how cool is that! the wall paper is fantastic....as is the room
Oh. My. Gosh. I just watched last night's episode of "Desperate Housewives" and gasped when they showed the dining room of Andrew's new house. It was EXACTLY like your son's! I missed the entire scene because I was staring at the walls. It looked great. Apparently the set designer for the show has been reading your blog! :-)
P.S. I hadn't seen that house between the rocks you sent me the link to. Very cool. Thanks!!
You go girl! I knew I loved that room when I first saw it! So this kinda makes you kinda famous, hehe~
The room looks great. Kathy
I love your son's room and it's so cool that the wallpaper was on Desperate Housewives. I love green so this is my kind of color scheme :)
Bella, I love that room! I thought those stripes were painted, I had no idea it was wallpaper! So cool! It all works together perfectly.
Don't you love it when the tv shows copy you?
The room looks great, you've done wonderful job Bella!
Wow! I never did that much to my kids rooms lol. It looks great. I'm trying to decide colors for my living room dining room project. I'm just not talented in that area. I can clearly see that you are. His room looks totally pulled together.

That is so cool!! Your son's room looks awesome. My son's the same age, and we really need to do a re-vamp.
I love your son's room. It will work as a guest room as is once he moves out after high school.
I hope you son likes the Dream picture, I don't think you can get anything off of the wall if you use Gorilla Glue!
I love that and it looks cleaner than my 13 year old girls room!
