I bought the buckets (all 15 of them!) at Big Lots for $1.50 each.
I bought the cute "Trick or Treat" ribbon at The Dollar Tree.
And I bought the tissue paper at Target.
The craft paint, I purchased at Michael's. The color I used was Kiwi.
I opted not to paint the candy corns on because I did a test run on one bucket and it just didn't look as cute as Susie's did...so I thought I had better just stick to the basics. But I am pretty pleased with how they came out...all 15 of them!!! I made one for each of my son's classmates in preschool.
What is so funny about this is that I used to detest crafting with a passion...seriously! But then I started blogging and giving crafting a try and here I am, a crafty diva now, ha!

So, trust me, if I can do this...anyone can!
Now where's that real candy corn? I know I had some in this house somewhere...

Yeah, it strikes us all at one time or another, honey pie!! Just have to learn to control it or live with it - craftin' I mean..... LOL
Smooches,

Very cute...and so nice of you to make one for everybody!!
So cute...I couldn't do it because no one can read my hen scratch writing and my printing is not much better...I could tie the ribbon and put the tissue paper in it...Maybe I could use stick-on letters.
Have a fun time....whether you are craftin' or decoratin'

I loved this idea when Susie did it, and I still love it. I'm really thinking about doing this for my son's preschool, since I signed up for head of the Halloween party. What was I thinking?

I'm in the same boat. I never crafted. In fact, my family used to call crafts.. "crafty crap!". It gave me visions of some 80's country style junk. Now I'm learning too and loving it! I just love these buckets too. I bought a small one at Walmart for $1 so I could copy Susie too! She is soooo creative!
I think it turned out very cute, just how you did it! I love the ribbon you used! :) What child wouldn't love it? :)
