Personalized Trick Or Treat Buckets

So, one day, like most days, I was reading Susie Harris' blog, bienvenue and I came across this post. And that was it, I was on a mission to copy me some Susie Harris Personalized Trick or Treat Buckets and here's what my son's looks like:

I bought the buckets (all 15 of them!) at Big Lots for $1.50 each.

I bought the cute "Trick or Treat" ribbon at The Dollar Tree.
And I bought the tissue paper at Target.

The craft paint, I purchased at Michael's. The color I used was Kiwi.

I opted not to paint the candy corns on because I did a test run on one bucket and it just didn't look as cute as Susie's did...so I thought I had better just stick to the basics. But I am pretty pleased with how they came out...all 15 of them!!! I made one for each of my son's classmates in preschool.

What is so funny about this is that I used to detest crafting with a passion...seriously! But then I started blogging and giving
copying crafting a try and here I am, a crafty diva now, ha!

So, trust me, if I can do this...anyone can!

Now where's that real candy corn? I know I had some in this house somewhere...
