I bought this 'thing' at a garage sale this summer. Stuck some Candy Corn and a tealight candle holder and candle and we're good to go...although I am afraid to light that candle in there!
Not sure if you can what I did here. I got this cylinder shaped Pyrex glass 'thing' at a garage sale for a dollar. There is a lid that goes to it, but I am not using that here. I just stuffed it with some sparkly fall ribbon and then stuck this little pot of faux flowers in at the top, got those at Michael's. It works for me ;)
Time for some bloggy copying love! Saw this on Susie Harris' blog, too cute!
Isn't he adorable? Only $3.99 at Marshall's, I swear that was a price mistake, but all of the Halloween tassels were marked that price, so maybe not? A bargain, for sure!
And just for fun...I have 2 sons, ages 4 and 13...not planned that way, just happened that way, what an adventure!!! Well, as you can imagine, the 13 year old's sense of humor is well, like a 13 year old boy's sense of humor...look what he did in our bathroom, isn't he precious?
ttfn,
Bella

Really cute Fall decorations! I love that tassel!
I so admire your talents.I can't wait till I get to a town that has some of the stores you shop at, I'll try to remember this when I get home and start complaining about the congestion of traffic. LOL

Love all of your Fall decorations...and you can get those small flameless candles to go in the glass...that would look great. I got several at Cracker Barrel for $1.50 each. Peace of mind when I didn't want a flame somewhere!!
Love what art turned into...that is FUNNY!
I love all your fall touches! Seems like everyone is shopping at Joanns these days! :) I wish we had one of those stores!
Hi Bella,
OK instead of reading everyone's blog posts and looking at all their gorgeous fall stuff I should be unloading mine from my attic while I have these two days at home but nope, I'm catching up on my bloggy friends instead. Remind me of this when I start to whine that I don't have my home decorated yet ok? *smiles* Love all your fall treasures with serious envy going on!
it all looks so wonderful... the F art is funny to cute...hugs, lisa
God bless their little hearts..... I have one too! They can come up with some stuff. Got a laugh out of me~ I cant believe you found a tassel for that price and that cute! I cant make em for that. great find my dear!
Love your pumpkin tassel.
I totally relate to your 13 yr old boy.
I have a 14yr, soon to 15 yr old, boy, a 9 soon to 10yr old boy & a freshly turned 2 yr old boy.
God help me!
Oh, I love the "FART"! My son's idea of humor was my post today too- he's almost 12 and his brother is 15. I had no idea I would laugh so much at these ages, but everyday they crack me up!
Thanks for the heads up on those lights- I'm wantin' me some now!
My 8 year old would think that was completely hilarious. I have no idea why.
:-)
Cute ideas!

Oh I sure hope those boxes weren't cheaper at Joanns! lol With my luck...I KNOW they were!
I'm cracking up at what your son did in the bathroom. I have a 12 year old that wouldn't have hesitated to do the same thing.
Your 'thing' is cute! Making me hungry though....
Great decorations! I love the lights. The soft glow is beautiful. Your bathroom sign had me smiling. My 10 year old son thought it was pretty funny too! By the way my children are 18 years apart in age!

Dawn

Great decor...but I'm so loving the touch your son added!
too too funny - that's like something that would happen in my house. I have an 18 year old son, and girls 16, 14, 12 - and I gotta tell you, its NOT just a boy thing.
What cute stuff! It's about time they came out with a brown cord for lights, isn't it? :)
I have a son the same age as yours, so I know that humor all to well!
Bella, love the decorations!!!! I love what you did with the candy corn!
OOh girl, you've been busy prettying up the place! My kids keep asking me when I'm going to decorate for Halloween, and I don't even know where the decorations are!

The Fall Lights is so lovely. Your son must be really cool to think of that:)
Aren't boys fun! Great fall inspiration. Since you aren't sure about lighting the tea light candle, you can get a battery operated one, that looks real.

That F-Art sign is hilarious! Boys... And they dont' grow out of it. I have letters for Christmas that say Joy and Noel. Last year, my brother in law rearranged them to say "Yo Leon". They were that way for two days before I noticed!
I love those white pumpkins and your fall inspirations!
You have to love those boys! :)
