Isn't this birdhouse so beautiful? My 4 year old lil guy painted it, I love it!
I love this laundry hamper, too, keeps everything nice and concealed, plus I get to decorate the top of it (bonus!)
I'm sorry I have not been posting & commenting too much, I have had a cold for over a week now, I think I am finally getting over it though (hooray!)

NICE job!! You "lifted" the whole area up with the varying heights of the objects you placed. It almost looks like the painting is hung at a different height in the "after" since there's so much depth in the new vignette.

WOW! Great looking vignette! You've got it goin' girl!! My favorite thing that's the finishing touch is the little birdhouse. I love to see something like that in a grouping, it adds such sweetness!

You are a great decorator--I loved your little hall way re-do! I am partial to stars in decorating touches, so those candle holders just jumped right out!
Loved your reference to "festooned"--I have always loved that word. I went to a McCain*Palin rally here in our town and was lucky enough to be on the third row! If you are interested, I posted about it on Sept. 10--I got some pretty good shots of them.

That looks really great, and what a good job your little guy did on painting the bird house! Forgot to mention on your other post that your 13 year old is hysterical. I probably would have done the same thing with those wood letters!
