Vignette Makeover

Remember these barn star candlesticks from HomeGoods that I wasn't thrilled with in the first spot I put them? I think they are much happier here.

I love my Monogram Art (Thanks, Joy!), want to make one, too? Click here.

Isn't this birdhouse so beautiful? My 4 year old lil guy painted it, I love it!

I love this laundry hamper, too, keeps everything nice and concealed, plus I get to decorate the top of it (bonus!)

I'm sorry I have not been posting & commenting too much, I have had a cold for over a week now, I think I am finally getting over it though (hooray!)

I have a couple of giveaways coming up, so stay tuned for those. Has anyone tried YouData yet? I love it!

NICE job!! You "lifted" the whole area up with the varying heights of the objects you placed. It almost looks like the painting is hung at a different height in the "after" since there's so much depth in the new vignette.

Brava! :-)

Everything looks great. I understand about the cold I think I caught it.

Hi Bella,

Your whole vignette looks lovely on top of that laundry hamper. I was just going to ask you if there were shelves in there or what and you answered it in the post. CUTE, cute laundry hamper!

Hi Bella!
WOW! Great looking vignette! You've got it goin' girl!! My favorite thing that's the finishing touch is the little birdhouse. I love to see something like that in a grouping, it adds such sweetness!
Hugs, Sherry
Glad you're feeling better!!

I am so glad you found me through Picket's blog---cause since you left me a nice comment, I can come over and meet you!

You are a great decorator--I loved your little hall way re-do! I am partial to stars in decorating touches, so those candle holders just jumped right out!

Loved your reference to "festooned"--I have always loved that word. I went to a McCain*Palin rally here in our town and was lucky enough to be on the third row! If you are interested, I posted about it on Sept. 10--I got some pretty good shots of them.

Have a great day, and go festoon something else! I'll try to do the same. We could call this "Festoon Day" or would it be "Festooning Day"! ;-) Have a great one anyway! Dana

That looks really great, and what a good job your little guy did on painting the bird house! Forgot to mention on your other post that your 13 year old is hysterical. I probably would have done the same thing with those wood letters!
