People Opposing Objectionable Pretend plants In the Environment
I am opposed to most faux flowers and anything that is shiny or silky. And don't even get me started on faux cemetery flowers...eek!
But I do like the greens, the pussy willows, the feathers and I can deal with faux flowers in a wreath, as long as they're pretty and not shiny plastic.
Here are some fauxs I have around my home, I hope you approve, but if not, then poo on you ;)
Some greenery and fluff from Walmart, I think the trick here was I got A LOT of them, sometimes less is more, but not in this case:

And here is my new faux flower delight, Dollar Tree Fall Garland, lol, who'd have thought that it would look so pretty, at least to me:
So, there are my faux delights. I hope the HGTV police will not come a knocking at my door, unless they want to give me a free makeover or a house, or something like that.

Bells - you know my favorite is the lemons. I loved that when you posted it. Who can go wrong with your Dollar Tree garlands (well probably many who read this:) especially when they are with those unbelievable trays that you made.....
Faux ferns! They are a blessing for people- like me(!) - who cannot grow a thing, my sweet little chickee! I have the most realistic roses you've ever seen. People who come to my home cannot believe they aren't real! If I had millions I'd have real flowers every single day, but I'll just have to settle for WM faux ferns then!! LOL You go, girl!!

It's all so pretty Bella! I love the Smith and Hawkin wreath, especially. I was just in the Walmart faux flower section yesterday. I bought fake leaves. How exciting, huh?
Good Morning Bella! I use a combo.... If I am entertaining in anyway, I use real flowers etc... For everyday decor.. I use faux flowers and greenery... (I doant have a green thumb)

I talked about faux greenery on my blog last month. As a designer I am supposed to "poo poo" the faux. But here in Arizona, land of the 1000's niches, some of which are incredibly high, you do need a bit of green. Who would get out a 20 foot (and taller) extension ladder to water 1-2x a week? So it's a necessity. But please clean them at least once a year.
I am pro faux. :)
There is no doubt that we would be best buddies if we were to meet. And I bet if we went shopping together we would fight over the same things!!!

Bella, Ooppss..I am guilty, as charged! I do the faux flowers...right down to the cemetary flowers! But the graves look so lonely and sad without them! I try to buy good quality ones and absolutely NO BLUE FLOWERS! LOL! Does that excuse me just a little? LOL! ~Rhonda

I use faux greenery and florals for my business of home staging because I do many vacant homes. Some can be nice but you have to be very selective. I see lots of ugly real plants in peoples' houses so it is a toss up for me. On the redesigns I just have them get something new.
In my own house I use mostly faux because I don't have the time or the green thumb to keep them going. I am picky though about what come through the front door.

Love the Poopie Parade title! Reminds me of my back yard after a weekend of pugs playing sans scoopermom. ; ) My favorite is that beautiful dried wreath. What is not to like about cute poopies?
Oh, you are so funny! I like your faux stuff. But isn't the wheat and wreath stuff real? It looks real.
I use faux fall decorating finds: leaves, and leaf/pumpkin/gourd combos on real grapevine.
I prefer natural, but how does one preserve it so it lasts all season? I mix natural with faux.

Another thought...I never found out exactly what those peppers are, but they are not "sweet". They are mildly hot. I know they aren't jalapenos, because I have some of those and they are much smaller and darker green. Whatever they are I love them!
