I bought these cute little yellow ramekins at Marshall's yesterday. A set of 4 were clearanced for $4.50. They had yellow, orange & green.
I made some of that Betty Crocker B. Smith corn bread in them, it came out sooo cute and so good, too.

I thought by giving my 4 year old cornbread in the ramekin, he would eat it. He did try it, but he spit it out, lol. But at least he tried it. I will be thinking up all kinds of things to make in these, in hopes that my picky eaters will give new things a try.
An added bonus was I had fun making these...I am not a happy baker or cook, for that matter, I just do it because I have to...can I get an Amen? ;)
Bella
PS: Have a great day and remember to stop back tomorrow, for the blog makeover giveaway!

I am with you on cooking and baking...only cause I have to!! Great idea to try the ramekin's for your picky eater. My dd at 9 has gotten so much better at trying things than she used to. She actually tries and likes more things than I ever thought she would. She was extremely picky!
I love to cook and bake. It really calms me. Must be a family thing because my mom and grandma are the same way.
The ramekins would be cute with individual brownies for a special treat.
Those are cute! I love cornbread but never have offered it to my children...I wonder if they would like it.

AMEN! I just don't enjoy cooking. I enjoy baking even less! I was so happy to see you bake from a mix. So do I. As often as humanly possible. My grocery cart is full of boxes, bags and cans. I used to be embarrassed by it, but you know what? It's the way it is. lol Love the ramkins. :o)
A pretty presentation does often work wonders for picky eaters. Yous was lovely.
Betty Crocker is my FAVORITE cornbread mix...and I have ramekins
and now, thanks to you, I have a new way to serve them...LOVE that!

Bella, You would get an Amen from me if it were cleaning! I don't mind cooking, but hate cleaning!!! LOL! The ramekins are so cute! If you get more recipes, please share them! I would love to try some! I've always wondered what to cook in them! LOL! ~Rhonda :)

You can get one big AMEN from me sister! I'm not big on cooking either, just forced to do it out of necessity!
AMEN here. The worst part is thinking up something to cook. I've always said that most recipes are either too expensive, too fattening, or someone in the family doesn't like it!! Love your ramekins, however. Sally
Cute Ramekins!
Those are really cute, Bella! I'll be back for the next giveaway. Congrats to Jen R!
What adorable ramekins! They would make some cute decorations too.
My son used to eat things if I put it in a tiny bowl like that. :)
Have you seen the muffin-tin Mondays? I think the blog is called Sycamore Stirrings. It might give you some ideas for your little guy!

I would totally eat corn bread if it was out of cute little disheds like that. For me to like corn bread is has to have honey butter.
Those are cute! I love buying new fund things to use in the kitchen!
AMEN! ;-)
It looks like you did a pretty amazing job! What a great idea to make in ramekins (can't believe this, but I don't even own ramekins. And I heart baking!).
AMEN! My family needs to eat and I do feed them but..............
I enjoy cooking if there is time. I don't like spending my only home time in the evening cooking and then cleaning though! I never thought of making cornbread in ramekins. Great idea. I usually bake mine in a cast iron skillet.
Blessings,
Lorilee
