Some Very Copacetic Garage Sale Finds

I see alot of you liked the 'copacetic' from the other day, so I just had to use it again ;)

There was a sub sale at a ritzy sub today, I just knew I had to get there right on time if I was going to get the good stuff, especially with my boys in tow...wow, it had been a long time since I was at a garage sale when it started, it was wild...but worth it, look at my goodies, I'm so excited still...

This is some sort of iron topiary kind of thingee, it came FULL of lemons, which my sons are having a ball with...because you know I have already spray painted it another color...what color, you ask? Wouldn't you like to know...stay tuned...oh, this was only $5, with the lemons, amazing...

Many of you wanted me to get a tall lamp for this table in my dining room, your wish is my command...$7.50:

Got a French Hat Box for my bedroom, it came with 3 matching candles, $4:

I don't know what the glass thing is called, and then there is a pottery urnie type of thing, $1 each:

Oh wait, how did THIS get in here? Well, just wait and see what I do with it...$2, which was way too much for it in its present state, lol, but when I get done with it, it will be $2 well spent:

This is some sort of metal goose basket, it's very small, maybe an egg can fit in it. It seems to be old to me, but no markings...it was marked 10 cents (10 cents??? ) but the lady actually threw it in with my other purchases for free:

Funny story, I thought these were some cups made by a guy named Frank Oma...after researching on ebay, I see that they are made by a company called Frankoma, lol...

Are these things GINORMOUS or what?

They are actually soup mugs and I got all 4 for $3!

Green birdcage, you know I'm painting that, $3, Urn thing $1, and then the chair was 25 cents and so was the Partylite pillar holder WITH candle...25 cents? Who prices anything 25 cents anymore, wow...

I liked the shape of this bunny...I am going to paint it and use it at Easter time, $1:

This is my favorite find of the day...I have never seen one of these, but I bet many of you have...it is all one piece, all metal, even the picture! And it's HUGE!

You probably can't even tell how big it is since my chair and my fireplace are honking big themselves, lol... oh look, you can see my hubby's MISTREATMENT of the curtain rod, lol...he needs to saw off the extra wood, it's only been a year though, so give him a break ;)

It was only $5!!! $5!!!! I am still in shock over this one...I carried it proudly down a driveway that seemed about a 6.7 miles long...this sucka was heavy!!!

But, oh so worth it!!! Man, do I love this picture & lovely iron work, too!

Now, here is a mystery to me...what is this thing? I think the 2 ends are brass and then the middle is a strip of tapestry material...it is pretty and again, only 25 cents, so I snatched it up quick, even though I have no idea what it is...

Oh and I also got ANOTHER metal bucket thingee...it was a lovely shade of purple, like my last one, but has already been spray painted black!

Phew! I am exhausted, I have been running all day, first garage saling, then spray painting, with the occasional lemon throwing fight in between ;)

I can't wait to see what goodies you all have found this week!

Good Night,
Bella

Hi Bella,
Boy you found some great looking stuff. Don't you just love it when people like this either move or redecorate?? I have found that the younger people usually have the most wonderful stuff! Bet this was a young couple????
I think the glass thing several pics up is a conservatory. Have no idea about the last pic.
Enjoyed your post!

Hi Bella, I was in Home Depot last night and they had bamboo roman shades that I believe will cover the whole width of your living room window with just one shade. Go over there and check it out. Deb

Great finds! The tapestry thing is a bell pull and the kits to make one are very expensive for needlepoint or cross stitch! Have fun redoing your things.
