How Many Lemons Are In Here?

My nifty $5 find at a garage sale last week....before, chippy cream paint, crammed full of lemons and some cobwebs:

After...Hammered Bronze....and still packed with lemons and maybe even some cobwebs, because my oldest filled it back up without asking, lol...oh well:

I put it on the hearth with my other $5 find from last week. Since my hearth and fireplace are HUGE and so are these accessories...I think it kind of all works together:

Here is yet ANOTHER bucket that I found last week for $2. It was lilac purple, I sprayed it black and stuck this fireplace air blowing thinggee in it...what are these called? (It's called a BELLOWS, thanks RetiredAtLast!!!)I got that at a garage sale in Indiana about 5 years ago for a buck! And it has real leather, brass and nice stud sort of ornamentation on it...I don't love it, but I don't hate it either and for $1 I know it was a steal:

Oh, how many lemons are there? I have no idea....I was going to count them as I cleaned them off and put them back into the topiary, but my son did it on his own and didn't count them...so maybe one day I will get around to counting them, but today is not that day ;)

PS: Today is Tablescape Tuesday, sponsored by Between Naps On The Porch. Here is my Fall Tablescape if anyone wants to take a peek....click me :)

I'm guessing 31 lemons. And since you have so many on hand you can bring lemon shooters to the "Look What Idea I Ripped Off From Another Blogger Party!" I'm planning but will never throw. :o)

I love that big long hearth you have! I have a few tiles on the floor in front of my fireplace. So boring!

Did I tell you we are going to MI for Thanksgiving? I only agreed to it if my husband would take us to Frankenmuth! hee hee

The thinggee is called a bellows. I really enjoyed my visit to your site.

Wow just the lemons alone are worth 3 times what you paid for the whole thing. It's a great piece. Some times you hit pay dirt and I just love when that happens! Have a great day :o)

I just LOVE that thing with the lemons!!!! I am guessing 36 lemons....do we get a prize for coming the closest???? lol

You know the cheapest I have found faux (nice looking) lemons is .97 each so for what you paid for that it is a STEAL!!

Ha! I am laughing because when I got to the bottom of your post I thought that "Tablescape Tuesday" was "Teletubbies Tuesday." Wow, that would not be nearly as much fun! (At least not for me!) I love the lemon project, and the bellows!

Great finds...on the lemon topiary and the hand bellows! Our garage sales are almost non-existant right now because of the heat, but I'm ready to hit them again this fall... ;-) Bo

Your lemon holder (?) is awesome!! I really like what you did with it, and my goodness, it is huge! What a great find! I referenced to your blog on mine today, regarding hiding cords. Thanks for posting on the subject a while back. I am a little Type A-ish and those cords were driving me nuts! No more I say!
Have a great day!
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
