Tiffany Box Blue Aqua Master Bedroom Redo

Here's a sneak peek:

(April 2009 Update: I need to add the rest of the pictures of my room to this post. In the meantime, I got the black and white damask comforter set at Walmart.com and the white chenille bedspread at designerlinensoutlet.com. The color on the wall is "Spa" by Behr Paint, available at The Home Depot.)

And for more ideas on how to decorate a bedroom on a budget, see my article at eHow.com, "How to Decorate a Bedroom on a Budget."

Thanks!

Bella, This is gorgeous!!! I love the black damask accents with the aqua blue! It does look like a retreat! Simply amazing!!! I meant to add yesterday day, that your son's striped room is awesome, too! Girl, you got it going on! :)

I'm planning to post my LH bedrooms tomorrow, and one of them is a paler version of your blue. I stayed with mostly whites, but it doesn't have the umphhh, I would like it to have! Wish I had seen your aqua room before I finished. Yours really pops, but still looks peaceful and pretty!

I am hosting a virtual online baby shower for a blogging friend next Friday, the 25th. Come by my blog for more info....would love for you to join us, if you can!

~Rhonda :)

PS...Hope you don't mind if I add you to my blogroll! :)

Hi Bella, thanks for commenting on my blog. I work at Hobby Lobby - do you have those near you? Great stuff, lots of sales!

I love your room, I think you did a beautiful job decorating. You might try looking for adhesive backed plate holders, no nails needed, we sell them at our store but I can't remember the name of them as they are not in my dept! But it's basically a sticky round disc that holds it to the wall, no holes! I think a plate grouping would look amazing over your headboard. GREAT room, LOVE IT, lol Have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

Thanks, Kitty Scraps, I don't have a Hobby Lobby near me...but I went to their site, which led me to Craft Etc and here they are:

I guess I can buy them online, which is nice. I really love the plate look, I just have to convince dh that it is a good idea now :)
